How it works.

What you need.

An account here, and an AI agent that can add a connector by address. Jobs.Dog runs no AI of its own, so the rest depends on your agent:

• Careers pages need web access.
• Job alerts and replies need your email connected to your agent.
• Applying needs a browser your agent can use.
• Working while you are away needs an agent that runs on a schedule.

1. Connect your agent.

Paste the address where your agent adds a connector, often under Connectors or MCP servers in its settings. Sign in to Jobs.Dog when it asks and approve. There is no password or key to paste.

In Claude Code, from a terminal:

2. Your agent adds the roles it finds.

It saves each posting word for word and writes a short summary: the facts that would change your mind, then what the job is, the team and what they want. It keeps its own read of how a role meets what you asked for apart from the facts, and labels it as its read.

3. You decide, and one button asks your agent to apply.

From any device, Star a role, Pass on it, or press Agent Apply. Your agent applies the next time it runs, filling in the form in its own app as far as the site allows, and recording the application. At a sign-in or a code, it is told to stop and check with you rather than guess, and the job in your list shows where the application stands and what your agent asked, so you can answer there. Agent Apply is offered only on jobs whose site lets you apply without an account; on the others, apply on the company’s site and mark the job applied. Press Agent Apply again any time before it’s done to take the job off your agent’s queue; once it has started, Jobs.Dog asks you to confirm first. If you sent it yourself, I sent it myselfmarks it applied and closes the ask. You can also tell your agent to save, pass or star a role for you. Its rules allow that only when you ask, the role shows the name the AI gave itself, and you can undo it in one tap.

What Jobs.Dog does on its own.

An application with no reply in 30 days closes as No reply. If nothing connected reads your email, Jobs.Dog says no reply tracked instead.

What it does not do.

Your agent’s rules keep it from saving, passing or starring a role unless you tell it to, and the role shows the name the AI gave itself. It cannot set the day you applied, ask itself to apply or change a setting; Jobs.Dog refuses it. Jobs.Dog never sends an application itself, does not write resumes, and is not an employer’s application system. To disconnect your agent, press Disconnect on Settings, Connections; it stops within the hour.
